They didn’t try to up sell me on anything. In fact, they made a few recommendations about less expensive ways for us to fix a major problem with tree roots strangling our pipes.
Chad and John were fantastic! They came and fixed a leaky toilet pipe and gave me A BRAND NEW toilet! They even worked overtime and made sure everything was tip top shape. I will definitly call again if needed! Keep up the great work!
I was assigned Joe Lay & Sons through my home warranty company. After they were assigned they promptly called me to set up a time. They had great immediately availability (even available the next day)! They gave me 30 minute windows for arrival! This was something I've never heard of! No more are the 8 hour windows of someone to maybe show up...30 minutes! Once I locked in my appointment, I got an email from them with the details. A nice touch as I work mainly through email. The day of, they did show up within the 30-minute window. Why aren't all companies this together?! The gentleman was polity and well dressed. Actually, the company was sponsor breast cancer awareness with their company shirts. My mom has breast cancer and that just hit home with me :) He was in and out within less than an hour and my problem was solved! No mess was left behind, which I have experienced with previous companies. I would highly Joe Lay & Sons and plan on using them for any potential future work.
Had the main water line under the house break. The crawl space where the pipe was located had standing water and mud. The first plumber that came would not even tackle it, leaving me without water for 2 days. Joe Lay & Sons came the morning after I called and repaired the pipe. They were very polite and got the job done!
The downside, their workers left my brand new house with mud on the walls, floor and brand new carpet.
All this began with the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE we received from TINA (Joe Lay & Sons Plumbing) who innitionally reached out to us and called us on Fri 9/29/17 to help us with a sump pump issue that had not been taken care of by Thomas & Sons Plumbing for the last 2 months. Thomas And Sons Plumbing was referred to us first through our Home Warranty Company. My wife called and spoke to the manager of the Home warranty company and explained to her the many problems with Thomas and Sons Plumbing Service. The manager then contacted Joe Lay & Sons Plumbing who then reached out to us after 2 months of back and forth with Thomas & Sons Plumbing over replacing a sump pump. All we wanted was the same size sump pump that they took out (3/4 hp sump pump) 2 months ago and replace it with the same 3/4 hp sump pump. Still to this day 9/30/17 as I write this review still no phone call and no sump pump replacement from Thomas and Sons Plumbing and this all started 2 months ago. Thankfully Joe Lay & Sons came out yesterday and put a new 3/4 hp sump pump in on the same day they contacted us. A special SHOUT OUT to the service tech (Jamie) who came out and put the sump pump in. He was very professional and generous with his time. He even tightened up my kitchen faucet before he left. Those additional little things mean a great deal in customer service. I would highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.
