This place is a joke, I made telephone reservation for the next business day for a four day rental, so my husband could get to his surgery..I made sure to ask if the only card we had would work, I was told oh yes just bring the card and driver license..I pay 50 bucks to get to florence location and guess what, we can not use that card. Why? Enough money to put a deposit and pay for the car. I told the man at desk, I was told different over the phone. Not even an apology. My husband served this country and can not even rent a car.. Because his bentifits come on a government issued mastercard.
Went to return rental after a week of use and they told me I would need to vacuum it prior to return. I've rented hundreds of cars for work and have never had that requested. I will not rent from here again and possibly from Avis. I've added pics to show that the van in the pre-vacuumed condition. crazy...
Had a difficult situation to work through to facilitate my party's rental needs. Owner/operator Mark worked out a great solution that exceeded expectations. I recommend renting here.
Let me pick car i wanted people very freinly
After a TERRIBLE experience at Hertz, my kids and I walked 1.5 miles to Avis. The two guys working that day were AMAZING! They took amazing care of us. NO TO HERTZ...YES TO AVIS! I think the guys name was anthony. I have a business card, I will double check. But he was excellent. Guy outside cleaned the car above expectations on a short notice! We were visiting from Florida. If we ever got back to Florence, Avis will get our money EVERY TIME!
