Their food is delicious. We had the feast for 4 to 6 people and it was plenty. We even had some left overs. Wish there were more than 4 cornbreads bur overall it was great and we had a good experience. Definitely recommend this place.
Whoa! I used to love this place, but the last two visits have been bad. Mediocre service, and food. I'm not sure what has changed, but I can't recommend this place.
The food is alright, nothing special but it is filling at least. My only real complaints are customer service quality seems low or at the least is a second thought to most here plus only your server can take care of your bill which means if they're busy, you'll see 3 or so employees standing around but won't help because only your server can ring your payment up and get you change.
Great food, and very fast and friendly service. Sharon was a great waitress and very helpful and friendly. Our family's experience here was excellent. They have big portions and a variety of BBQ sauces. We got the sampler and it was really good. In my opinion though, I like City BBQ In Florence better, their brisket and corn bread pudding is awesome! But Famous Daves was a pleasant change, I just like city BBQ better.
Great with large groups! I always take large groups to the Florence location. They take great care of us & have us fed in a timely manner. Which is, of course, more difficult with larger groups in any restaurant. I love the barbecue chicken salad & the dressing!!
This is an update: My wife and I have returned3 times since the incident and have sat in the bar area each time. The bartender lady Mel is phenomenal and has more than made up for the earlier issue. Now we will only sit in the bar area and only if she's there. Great personality and even better service.
