I would recommend this place to anyone that’s having transmission issues.
My tire mechanic recommended Mr. Transmission a few years back after I had several bad encounters with the dealership and big chain garages while trying to have a shifting issue corrected in my transmission. I’m glad he did. The folks at Mr. Transmission are highly knowledgeable, honest, and provide prompt service that they will stand behind for the years that follow. Besides that, they treat you like a person and not a paycheck, which is a rare experience in this day and age. If you are having transmission problems, I would recommend you only consider Mr. Transmission if you want great service for a reasonable price and peace of mind.
Was traveling from Cincinnati Ohio back to Mississippi after I had just bought a truck. Made it to Florence when I realized the transmission was acting up. Got a room that night and next morning Googled nearby transmission shops, these folks had excellent reviews and am so thankful they're the type of folks that earn their reviews. When I called and explained my situation I was told to come down and they'd take a look, mind you they were packed up with work, but taking pity on a traveler the manager checked out my truck, determined there was a busted cooling line and fluid was extremely low. They got my truck on the rack and made the repairs and within 2 hours they had me back on the road. Transmission working great and they saved me what could've been a couple thousand dollars. I can only give them 5 stars but they definitely deserve 10. Thanks so much for your great work and kindness to a traveler in need.

I purchased a vehicle “as is” from a dealership knowing it needed work. Mr. Transmission towed it to their facility for me at a very reasonable price and checked the vehicle to ensure what I thought was wrong was actually the case. As it turns out, the diagnosis was different than what I had originally thought. While I felt their estimate for repairs was fair, it was more than I was willing to spend on the vehicle so in the end we didn’t do business. That said, I am very thankful for their help and would return to be a 1st time customer should the need ever arise.

Brian went over every detail with me. At some point we found out there was a busted part that he didn’t account for. Brian replaced the part at no charge. I had quite a few questions for him when I pick up my vehicle. He had no problems answering them.
Where to start.... I took my work van into another repair shop a month ago because my van was overheating, five hours later and several hundred dollars they change some temperature sensor and said it was fixed. Two days after that, my van was overheating again. I took it back,long story short it would be over $1,000.00 dollars to change my water pump and both upper and lower radiator hoses. The radiator hoses were supposedly $100 each. I said no thanks took my work van to Mr. Transmission, they gave me an estimate that was half of the other place. Today I just picked my van up, they replaced water pump and changed the one radiator hose that needed to be replaced ($29) and for just over $500 I’m on my way to getting my customers heat back on. I just wanted to thank everyone at Mr. Transmission for there hard and honest work. We will be back. If there were room for 10 stars I’d give them 11. I highly recommend this business to any and everyone. Thanks again!!!
