Not too crowded for a Friday night. Came for my birthday. Family had a great time and the food was better than I remember from the last time I was there, years ago. I'll make an effort to come back for sure.
I'm a little biased here because I while I like seafood, I'm not really into lobster. I went with my mom for a family event and it was nice. The food was good. The prices were high to me, but was told that this is more of a high end restaurant so it was actually fairly priced. Had no idea lobster was so expensive. I ordered the lobster to try it out. I noticed the texture was very different from what I was used to, and immediately saw the difference between cheap lobster and red lobster. I liked it. If it wasn't for my mom paying though I wouldn't have been able to order it. Plus they have my mom a discount because she can't eat shrimp, and something she ordered had shrimp in it, even though it didn't say it did on the menu. The waitress had no idea one way or the other. Probably new. The discount made up for it.
The food is always delicious and hot when we go. Great variety of seafood. Great service. Our waiter was Paul. Paul is a funny and reliable guy when it comes to your orders and drink refills. He'll try to accommodate you with anything you need during your visit. So ask for him.
I am not typically a Red Lobster fan, however this Red Lobster was AMAZING! It began with our server Heidi. She is really sweet , fun and PROFESSIONAL. the food was perfectly cooked. Someone (chefs) really are interested in the product that is presented. I am really impressed. So much so that my friends and I are going back this Sunday. I am looking forward to it !
Big thumbs up for the clam chowder soup. You can really taste the clams in it. Love the coconut shrimp. The sauce that comes with them is tasty, as well. The wood-grilled scallops and crabmeat linguine is especially good. Last time we went, I had a chose a combo meal featuring coconut shrimp and grilled scallops. I would give this Red Lobster 5 stars but I can't because the drinks are overpriced-- but good. With that said, we've always enjoyed our experiences there. The photo I included here is the meal I ordered. Lighting in the image is a little bad but that's due to my phone camera acting up.
Joey Davis, was single-handedly, the best host I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only did I fall in love with his kind, gentle gestures, I found solace in his reassurance that my table was ready. Multiple times, I, indeed was worried that my food wasn't cooked to perfection, but Joey Davis, became my superhero right after my complaint to him. He certainly is the best addition to the Red Lobster family. I send my condolences to other hosts, as his standards exceed my expectations and remain superior in every sense.
