Service slow took approx 30 minutes to receive foods. Others were seated after us and received food faster. Shakes were melted when we receive them
One of the only good experiences I've ever had at Steak and Shake. Rodney C was great and a really friendly guy. I felt kind of bad for him because he was having to do all the jobs since it was only him and another guy.
Slowest service ever. Standard food quality for Steak n Shake, but does it really take 30 minutes to make a standard breakfast with pancakes when half of the tables in the place are empty?
The food is good, but the service is subpar. We stood waiting for a table for over 5 minutes before asking if we were suppose to seat ourselves. It wasn't that they were busy, it was that no one wanted to come over to seat us. The "hostess" was just walking around not doing anything. I watched the entire time as people flowed in and waited and waited. About half left due to frustration. The picture I uploaded says it all. Half the restaurant filled and about 20 people waiting in line. Our waitress was nice though and the food was prompt.
If you're in a hurry, go to McDonald's. If you want fresh made, stop in here. Great tasting burgers and fries. Good shakes too!
Then the food comes out, eggs were almost completely raw, I ordered over hard. Pancakes came out fine but no butter, so she gave us a regular stick of hard butter to use.
